Alba Vitae: the wine solidarity spirit of Christmas

The name is emblematic of an extraordinary initiative. Alba Vitae is the new charitable initiative promoted by the Italian Sommelier Association of Veneto. This year, the chosen wine to be presented in magnum format for sale will be the cult wine Riserva Brut Imperiale from one of the most prestigious Italian maisons in the field of Classic Method sparkling wine: Villa Rinaldi of Soave.

The Riserva is the right product for the goal that AIS Veneto aims to achieve: to help children in difficulty and, in particular, the Francesca Rava Foundation – N.P.H. Italy, which focuses on protecting children's rights.

Alba Vitae is a Magnum produced by Villa Rinaldi, selected from the Family Reserves. The vintage is 2005, and it is one of the most awarded Reserves from the Rinaldi family. Pure Pinot Noir sparkling wine, produced according to the unmistakable elegance of the Veneto winery’s style, with 36 months of aging on the lees for a wine that spent as much as 8 months maturing in barriques. A particularly creamy, enveloping, and seductive bubble. All the expressive strength of the most authentic and characterful Pinot Noir from the vineyards of Alto Adige. Structural richness and aromatic breadth make this wine a pride of Italian winemaking worldwide.

AIS Veneto's choice for this Christmas is to invite everyone to do a good deed thinking of children, those in the most difficulty, on the margins. The proceeds from this sale will help the Francesca Rava Foundation strengthen its support activities and increase the number of children who will receive help, which often means salvation, a return to life, the life we all desire.
