Types of honeys

There is n& #39 of honey; it is for all tastes, let's see the main types. While Fir Honey is very dark in color, tending to black, with an intense, aromatic and pleasant taste, Acacia Honey, one of the most common and well-known, is amber and transparent, very delicate on the palate and usually liquid, since it tends not to crystallize. Two original variants are Orange Honey, clear, fragrant, with a pleasant and delicate flavor, and Hawthorn Honey, sweet and aromatic, with an amber and slightly grainy appearance. #39
Among the honeys very rich in mineral salts, we find Chestnut Honey, more or less dark, from light walnut to dark brown, with a full-bodied and pungent scent like its taste, typically bitter and very particular, and Heather Honey, of which there are many variations, generally with a color ranging from &' amber to dark red, semi-liquid, particular and with character.
And then again, honeys made with one or more varieties of flowers, sweet, bitter, liquid, compact, nectar or honeydew. Honeydew honey is the resource produced by bees when they find few flowers, something that often happens in the woods. This sticky, sugary substance forms on trees and is produced by small insects, such as aphids and scale insects, starting from tree sap. Bees collect this substance, and then transform it into special honeys, generally less sweet but no less delicious

and nutritious.

Honey: properties and benefits

Honey is a precious food with a thousand hidden properties. Since it is composed of simple sugars, namely fructose and glucose, it is very energetic and highly digestible. But this natural treasure is not only delicious, it contains enzymes, vitamins and trace minerals. If we look more specifically, we discover that honey can be a cure-all for the upper respiratory tract, especially during winter, thanks to its decongestant action, capable of calming even the cough. #39
Its energetic virtues are appreciated by anyone who needs a little energy, but especially by athletes: the consumption of honey can in fact promote an increase in physical power and endurance. #39 If honeys can be valuable allies for digestion, they can also help us detoxify and protect our liver. Finally, honey, in addition to having restorative and remineralizing properties, can help fix calcium and magnesium to &' inside the bones and prevent the risk of

anemia.

How to choose quality honeys

If we talk about quality honeys, we are talking about genuine honey, 100% Italian and containing no residues of any kind, indeed, perhaps even organic. The goodness of honey depends first of all on the quality of the production by the bees, but even more on skill and on &' attention that the &' man must put into &' extraction and packaging. These two characteristics of production are reflected in &' aspect of the product, so, following some simple rules, we can learn to distinguish good honey from a rip-off. The first rule to follow to consume quality honey is to buy only Italian honey composed of 100% hive product, without chemical residues, such as antibiotics or the drugs with which bees are treated. To ascertain these two characteristics, a & #39 will suffice; careful reading of &' label, a fundamental action so as not to risk rip-offs. Many manufacturers also make use of the BIO certification, which is a further confirmation of the quality of their product. Speaking instead of the real appearance of the honeys, it is important to control their color: it must be as homogeneous as possible and free of stratifications or separations. Furthermore, the myth that the best honeys should be liquid must be dispelled: crystallization is an absolutely natural process and is a sign of

excellent honey quality.

In short, if you want to add a little' of sweetness to your day in a natural way, doing yourself good with quality products, we are sure that in our selection of honeys you will find your favorite.
