Recycling panettone is very simple by making a seasonal fruit crumble. Take some pears and cut them into small pieces, sauté them in a pan with sugar and cinnamon. In a bowl, mix the leftover panettone with melted butter.
Prepare a buttered baking dish and place the pears on top, covering them with the crumbled mixture. Bake for a few minutes until golden. Your dessert is ready! Serve it at room temperature with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
Who doesn’t love muffins and tiramisu? Well, these can also be made with leftover panettone. Let’s start with the muffin recipe.

With panettone that has lost its softness, you can make an excellent tiramisu. The panettone will replace the classic ladyfingers; it should be cut into slices, soaked in coffee, and placed on a tray. If you want, you can also add a touch of orange liqueur.
One tip: flavor the mascarpone with drops of chocolate or citrus zest, it will be an extra touch for an amazing dessert. Create the layers and sprinkle the top with cocoa powder. Your dessert will be ready in just a few minutes.
In the absence of candied fruits, for panettones that only contain raisins, you can also make savory recipes, for example, for an appetizer or an exciting aperitif. This is because the dough is made from water, flour, butter, and eggs, and it lends itself very well to being paired with savory foods.
Panettone with raisins can be toasted, grilled, served warm with cold cuts and cheeses, or in slices to enrich vegetable purees. It can also be ground into powder to add to spaghetti with anchovies, or on saffron risotto.
