Autumn flavors: when the summer heat is now gone, and the evening chill is a guarantee, gathering at home for a dinner among friends takes on richer and fuller tastes. These are the autumn flavors, with which it will be possible to create rich and tasty menus, featuring true masterpieces of Italian gastronomy.

Among the autumn flavors, the most characteristic are undoubtedly the cheeses, including some true gems of Italian excellence, such as the Toma blu barricato with aromatic herbs from Casearia Carpenedo, a blue cheese aged in oak barrels made from pasteurized cow's milk and aged for at least 3 months; it is a cheese with a buttery texture that offers a unique sensory experience, reminiscent of a journey through mountain pastures.

Among the most exquisite autumn flavors, there is also the cheese El Ciucco from La Casara, aged in the skins of dried grapes intended for Amarone. After all, in autumn, the sensation of freshly pressed grapes is part of the tradition of Venetian wineries… such a cheese cannot be missed! Among the autumn flavors, the cured meats are a must. Rich, tasty, and versatile, they are truly essential for a dinner with friends, to be served as an aperitif or enjoyed as an appetizer. The journey through autumn flavors begins with the Salame Mantovano, which guarantees us a rustic experience full of flavor! It is no coincidence that the Pedrazzoli salami factory has received numerous awards in recent years for the high quality of its products, including this extraordinary and typical salami.

We continue with a truly exquisite aged Pancetta, made from vacuum-packed black pork from the same salami factory. This pancetta offers a rare pleasure, produced with a particularly attentive eye to the breed of black pig, a species at risk of extinction. It is a gluten-free, organic pancetta, with no added phosphates, additives, or lactose. It is excellent enjoyed on a slice of freshly toasted bread, where it melts into pure pleasure.

Among the seasonal flavors, wines are a must, at this time when the grape harvests are celebrated, and the cellars are full of grapes and musty aromas. Here are the best seasonal wines.

Let’s start with the Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG from the hills of Cartizze. Here, the work begins with the sparkling of Glera grapes, in the Valdobbiadene area, to give autumn a sparkling sensation!

Autumn menu: tips for an autumn dinner

Let’s organize an autumn menu with the characteristic products of the season. The flavors are abundant and truly inspiring: a little creativity is all it takes to prepare a perfect dinner to enjoy with friends.

One of the typical seasonal products is undoubtedly the pumpkin. Try our Delica veronese, from the plains of low Verona, the ideal place to develop the quality and fullness of the pulp’s flavor. With pumpkin, you can create fantastic gourmet dishes: from velvety soups to typical risottos, to homemade tortelli and ravioli.

To conclude beautifully, try a truly typical seasonal product: the cherries in syrup, a very old variety of wild sour cherries.
