The bad weather this weekend has perhaps signaled the end of summer. Unfortunately, it has done so in a rather heavy-handed manner, and we take this opportunity to express our solidarity with the Tuscan populations and those in the central-southern Italy who have been affected by disastrous downpours. A hug of encouragement also goes out to all the farmers who have seen a year's worth of sacrifices and dreams lost.
It is our task to never forget and to continue along the path of support for the land and its fragilities, always choosing more and more those who fight every day for its preservation and respect for its integrity. We owe it to our children and the generations to come.

The Basil is of the same species found along the Ligurian coast, particularly in the Ponente region. A little plant that you must nurture with great care and love. A package where, truly, there is life inside!
