Le Spiazzette: scopri i prodotti

Le Spiazzette celebrates 150 years of passion for the land. Here nature is transformed and preserved with traditional methods so as to guarantee quality, taste and respect for the &' environment.

The Spiazzette are a place where time has stopped. Here you can find the tastes and flavors of tradition, the fruits of the earth that would have been forgotten. The Pink Apple of the Sibillini Mountains, cornel cherries and wild blackthorn are once again known through the jams and compotes that we make by personally picking the fruits of the trees and in the bushes of the woods that lap the orchards. An ethical, difficult and courageous choice, but made with the heart of those who know that their products will be tasted and appreciated. The Spiazzette are also the place of historical memory. The name “Le Spiazzette” derives, in fact, from the legend that tells of the descent of the Sibyl fairies to dance with local young people. They danced in the fields and with their dances they formed “the spaces”

THE SIBILLINI MOUNTAINS

The apple orchards of the &' company overlook the Sibillini Mountains, a treasure chest made of mythology and nature. Only the name of the mountain range brings to mind the legend of the Sibyl, a figure present in Greek, Roman and Christian mythology with prophetic abilities. Since 1993, the Sibillini Mountains have been a National Park

THE PINK APPLE, SLOW FOOD PRESIDIUM

The Pink Apple is a traditional variety from the entire foothill area of central Italy. The most common and traditional biotope is found in the pre-Apennine area of the Sibillini Mountains. The natural resistance to plant diseases and insects of the Pink Apple of the Sibillini Mountains is due both to the particular geographical location of the production context and therefore to the climate, and to the genetic characteristics. The peculiar climatic conditions of the Sibillini Mountains area, first of all the daily and seasonal temperature range, positively interfere with the organoleptic characteristics of the product, making it unique and absolutely different from the fruit grown

in the plains.
