L&' Eraldo Revelli Farm, located in the suggestive landscape of the Langhe hills, in the south-west of Piedmont, represents a &' an oasis of peace surrounded by greenery. Located near Belvedere Langhe, a few minutes from Dogliani, this estate benefits from a privileged territory and an ideal microclimate for the cultivation of the Dolcetto and Barbera grape varieties, which here produce bunches of
extraordinary quality.
The history of &' company unfolds through three generations of winemakers, with a pride and passion that are reflected in &' constant commitment to achieve ever higher quality and excellent results. Founded in 1930 by Enrico Revelli, l&' current owner Eraldo was born in 1951 and, after completing his studies, decided to follow in the footsteps of his father and brother Secondino in &' family business.
Despite the &' enormous commitment required for the redevelopment of &' company and the substantial economic and emotional resources necessary, Eraldo has chosen to follow his passion and trust in the land. In 1974, he joined Luisa, who, despite having no experience in vineyards, quickly learned the art of viticulture, becoming able and experienced like a true native. #39 During these years of hard work, their first daughter was born. After completing her studies, Claudia decided to continue the family tradition and, starting in 2000, started a business relaunch plan that included the replanting of some vineyard areas, the renovation of the cellar and the #' modernization of the equipment. Thanks to its commitment and vision, l&' Azienda Agricola Eraldo Revelli projects itself towards a successful future, combining tradition and innovation.
A special mention deserves the Dolcetto grape variety, whose link with the Dogliani area dates back centuries. Dolcetto wine is mentioned in one of the Statutes of the Municipality of Dogliani dated 1500. It is said that the tradition of this wine dates back to &' year 1000. A major event in the local agricultural calendar was the Feast of Saint Matthew, which fell on September 21 and marked l&' the start of the harvest. On the occasion of this festival, a chapel dedicated to Saint Matthew was built right next to the oldest vineyard of &' company, which gave its name to their best Dolcetto: the
“San Matteo”.
