Agricola L&P is an agricultural company based in Basilicata. L&' company was born from the desire of two ambitious young people who want to promote their land d&' origin and its genuine fruits.

Agricola L&P: the dream of Egidio and Elisa that becomes reality

It's 2017. Elisa Peluso is twenty-nine years old, Egidio Lofiego thirty-one. The two young Lucans, life partners, decide to undertake a &' difficult road, that of their dream: to found an agricultural company in Basilicata, the land that has seen both of them grow and that means everything to them.

This is how Agricola L&P was founded and at that moment the #39 began for Elisa and Egidio; an adventure of life, for which they questioned everything.
This dream has upset the plans of the couple who have given up the prospect of a stable job to dedicate themselves to the much more difficult and random activity of agriculture.

Agricola L&P: when l&' love for the land leads to product quality

The feeling of love that binds the couple of partners to their land of origin is so intense, that it leads them to always do their best.
Commitment, stubbornness and dedication are the keywords of &' company, which produces precious fruits every day.

Basilicata is a region known for the widespread spontaneous presence of aromatic and medicinal herbs, and for this reason Agricola L&P has made them the flagship products of &' company.
In fact, aromatic herbs represent the main crop, with 4.5 hectares of land.
In addition to this, 1.5 hectares are covered by olive groves, 0.5 by vegetables and 0.2 by citrus fruits.

One of these aromatic herbs, which represents, according to Elisa and Egidio, l&' Azienda Agricola L&P, is l&' oregano, cultivated in a plot 600 meters above sea level.
Every step of the processing is carefully managed, so as to preserve the quality of the product and at the same time the wild nature of the plant.
To testify to l&' high quality of &' oregano is l&' smell, as well as flavor and l&' high content of essential oils in this aromatic plant.

L&' company does not use chemicals, herbicides or pesticides for its land in full respect of &' environment, and employs conservative and regenerative agriculture techniques. In this way, it manages to guarantee the protection of biodiversity and l&' soil balance.
