Masseria delle Stagioni is a family business founded in Teano, in &' in the upper Caserta area, on the slopes of &' ancient and extinct Roccamonfina volcano that has given enormous mineral wealth to the soil, making it suitable for any cultivation. It is a &' a young company, but well established over time, that was born from a dream, that of Vincenzo De Francesco, the son of farmers who, with sacrifices, allowed him to study and become an established professional. Vincenzo, however, decided in &' October 1988 to do a small folly: to buy

a farm.


Masseria Delle Stagioni: a return to the earth, a need for quality

Vincenzo's decision was taken with his heart: that earthy scent that he smelled as a child on the skin of his mother and father represented, in fact, that “safe haven”, that reminder of healthy origins that he wanted to continue to smell throughout his life! L&' objective? Only one: quality. L&' starting &' company was not easy, but Vincenzo didn't give up.

The dream and ambition to be able to cultivate good and genuine products for himself, for his family and for his friends, grew more and more day after day, to the point of deciding to buy new land to further expand his production, already imbued with the many teachings and peasant habits to which he was and is convinced heir: only with respect for the seasons and the times of nature can a truly genuine, healthy and good product be obtained.

Today, Mrs. Antonia, Vincenzo's wife, is actively participating in the life of &' the company is also the company, with the support of her children who, each in their own way and according to their aptitudes, contribute to the realization of a family project: l&' the initial dream today is represented by a &' a 30-hectare farm that maintains the primary objective of obtaining a product capable of nourishing body, spirit and mind in a balanced way and also through extraordinarily simple scents and flavors: a &' agriculture as close to concept of 'sustainability' that privileges natural processes and is also capable of preserving the 'environmental resource'. An approach far from the concept of intensive agriculture and its practices harmful to the soil and, above all, to our own health.

The crops of Masseria delle Stagioni alternate between different types of plants: citrus fruits, peaches, apricots, pears, apples, figs and, above all, many varieties of cherries as well as nuts and chestnuts.
Although today hazelnuts play an important role in crops (with 3 different varieties: S. Giovanni, Mortarella and Tonda di Teano), the main part of the work of &' the Campania company is currently linked to the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

An oil that has also recently received an important award: at the International Oil Competition “AIPO d&' silver 2020”, an event that compares some of the best oil productions in the Mediterranean basin, l&' Masseria delle Stagioni's Extra Virgin Olive Oil reached 14th place in the Italian-Light Fruity category, also obtaining “a drop of gold”.
