Jako Wine: scopri i prodotti

Jako Wine is a winery that is based on passion and love for wine. A passion that started from a wine enjoyed exclusively among friends up to a product shared with the best connoisseurs in Italy and at &' abroad

.

Jako Wine: originality and innovation

Jako Wine is a project born in 2015 from an idea of Gianluca Berti, a Bolognese entrepreneur active in the transport and logistics sector, well assisted by Severino Barzan, former patron of Antica Bottega del Vino in Verona, consultant for various world wine realities.
An eclectic personality, coveted especially in France, where the Revue du Vin in 1998 wanted to pay homage to him as “man of the year” despite his Italian citizenship. The picture is closed by Professor Valenti for the agronomic part and the young oenologist Lorenzo Dionisi.

The research conducted by Jako Wine experts has led to the identification of the best terroirs, where the best grapes are found. From the preparation of the soil to the management of the grape variety and the harvest by hand, everything is managed with a logic of obsessive perfection. The final result is a high quality product.

So we start with the wine, or rather the idea of the wine to be offered to the market, to go hunting for the perfect vineyard with an adjoining cellar to be managed for rent and under the strict supervision of company technicians at every stage of the production process.

They started with Oltrepò Pavese, thus focusing on the best Italian pinot noir for the production of classic method sparkling wines, which are accompanied by Veneto for the production of native and international grapes under the supervision of Professor Valenti for a total production of about 20,000 bottles.

Jako Wine: wines from the best Terroirs

The best Terroirs, where the best grapes are found, identified by Jako Wine are:

Oltrepò Pavese: a &' a hilly area of uncontaminated beauty, with clay-calcareous soil whose microelements have been contributing for centuries to the cultivation of the best vines; quality witnessed since &' pre-Roman era by the writings of Pliny, Strabo and Virgil.
Located in Lombardy, it owes its name to the peculiarity of being located south of the Po river, in the middle of the Northern Apennines.
An area of great traditions and culture, between sea, Apennines and plains, it alone produces more than 70% of D.O.C. wines.

Valpolicella: represents one of the most prestigious areas of the Italian wine scene.
The same name derives from “val polis cellae” - “the valley with many cellars”, confirming a &' wine business flourishing since &' antiquity.
It is located north of Verona, borders Lake Garda and is protected to the north by the Lessini Mountains. The enchanting hilly landscape is dominated almost everywhere by vineyards. The unique characteristics of the terroir underlie the extraordinary typicality of its wines.

Province of Verona: land of ancient winemaking traditions. Here, over the centuries, it has been possible to safeguard the native vines, guaranteeing the unchanged excellence of the wines produced.
Rich and varied terroirs derived from glacial deposits give vines peculiar properties and unique sensory connotations. The production is located a few kilometers south of Lake Garda, an area with a mild climate, cradle of illustrious, unique and varied viticulture.

Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOGC: The highest expression of prosecco comes from the DOCG, which includes 15 historic hilly municipalities between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. This territory, of disarming beauty, is characterized by a cultural landscape of unique value. It is the result of manual work that characterizes a viticulture defined as “heroic” from which an ancient sparkling wine tradition derives

, since 1876.
