The Michele Satta Company was founded in 1983, the year before the establishment of the Bolgheri DOC, which indeed sees Michele as one of its first protagonists.
After an initial precarious period, linked to fragmented leases, in 1987 the young man finally succeeded in establishing the first core of the company with the purchase of the best available land and the construction of the winery.
In this family-run company, with a stable size of 23 hectares, 150,000 bottles are currently produced, all obtained from grapes grown on their own estate.
