The Cascina Boschetto Agricultural Company, located in the eponymous building, is situated at the extreme southeastern edge of the "Terre del Giarolo" Mountain Community in the Municipality of Stazzano in Garbagna.
The Cascina, already mentioned in the Napoleonic Cadastre, is located in a hilly area and boasts a property of 17 hectares of woodlands and arable land.
In 2007, after a long training period with two technologists, one in dairy science and one in charcuterie, Cascina Boschetto began the production of its first cheeses and cured meats. Following an ever-increasing demand, in 2010 the Cascina Boschetto Agricultural Company became part of two of the most important Consortia of the Terre del Giarolo Mountain Community: the “Montebore Cheese Consortium” and the “Noble Salami of Giarolo Consortium.”
