Sadivino: scopri i prodotti

SaDiVino is the brand of the Agricultural Society Orlandi from Predappio, run by Cristiano and Simona, who carry on a history of 2 generations of winemakers. A passion that began with grandfather Pasqualin, with whom Cristiano spent entire afternoons in the winery as a child, helping him to draw off the wine, which in dialect was referred to as “togliere il vino,” meaning transferring wine from the vats to the demijohns or from demijohns to bottles.

Surrounding this is the territory of Predappio, strongly characterized by the production of excellent grapes and therefore good wine. Its clayey hills have been shaped since antiquity by vineyards that have been producing a robust Sangiovese for centuries. This red wine, typical of the Romagna areas and produced from the eponymous grape variety, finds its ideal area in the hills of Predappio.
In this territory lies SaDiVino, which tells us new stories through its nectar of Bacchus.

SaDiVino: a childlike curiosity transforms into passion

From the owned vineyards, where a curious Cristiano observed as a child, today he produces Sangiovese and Albana grapes.

The production started in 2011 with two IGP, and over the years the activity has expanded, bringing new experiences. To date, the wines in production are six reds and two whites, all coming from grapes of vineyards located in the hills of Predappio and Predappio Alta.

The wines include three pure Sangioveses, one pure Merlot, and two blends with Cabernet and Merlot. The whites are pure Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

SaDiVino: respect for the environment and artistic sensitivity

Cristiano and Simona continue to produce their wines with dedication and passion, respecting the land and the characteristics of each vineyard. The annual production is currently 15,000 bottles, thus remaining a winery with a small production that still works with artisanal methods, such as long macerations in truncated conical oak vats and manual punching down.

A great sensitivity to nature also transforms into artistic sensitivity. Cristiano has also embarked on an interesting collaboration with the Predappio artist Grota, born from a meeting in Forlì during an exhibition of the artist. They were struck by a spark that created an extreme synergy, and since then, a collaboration combining wine and art has been born. Thus, the symbol of SaDiVino as well as the labels of the produced wines are signed Grota.
