Birrificio Lesster: passion and craftsmanship
The Birrificio Lesster was founded in 2012 by a group of friends with a passion for good beer and small craft breweries. Their goal is to bring genuine and fresh products, made artisanal in local workshops at the foot of the Lessini mountains, to their customers' tables.
This extraordinary land from which it takes its name is a vast mountainous area, green, mostly unspoiled, where cows can be seen grazing and natural wonders abound. Birrificio Lesster selects the purest waters from the territory, rich in underground springs, and sometimes a few seasonal delicacies to produce some seasonal beers.
The craft beer is born not only from raw materials but also from passion. To produce their beers, Birrificio Lesster selects raw materials based on analytical criteria and quality controls, striving to bring out their maximum potential. The philosophy of the brewery is based not only on the love of the territory but also on the raw material: hops, which has undergone extensive research to find the best expression possible for each variety.
After a few years of research, tests, experiments, and technical trials, sometimes changing even a single ingredient for each batch, they have identified what they believe to be the perfect ingredients for their recipes. However, this does not stop their curiosity to try new combinations and improve their final product. The production of Lesster beers is carried out with the best ingredients available on the market, exclusively evaluating quality.
From the careful selection of raw materials to the mastery of the brewing process, the beer branded Lesster guarantees a taste and a fresh aroma typical of a craft product.
Birrificio Lesster: beer with a taste of sustainability
Lesster beers are all produced using the craft method: unfiltered, unpasteurized, free of preservatives, and refermented in the bottle. From the day of brewing, it takes about 40 days for the beers to be ready to drink, compared to 7-10 days for industrial beers.
Seasonally, Lesster beers renew themselves by offering spicy or hoppy flavors, bold or delicate, classic or new. They are strictly craft beers refermented in the bottle, a practice that gives them a natural and genuine carbonation, which is not at all intrusive. They should be stored at the right temperature (indicated on the back of each label) to maintain their uniqueness and then enjoyed, savoring the originality and characteristics of each individual ingredient blended with wisdom and skill by the master brewer.
The entire production chain of Birrificio Lesster has a connection to the land of Lessinia: the supply of renewable energy is a contribution to maintaining the health of the territory. The Lesster brewery has always been attentive to sustainability with the aim of positioning itself as a company sensitive to environmental respect. Since March 2017, its attention to nature has been strengthened by the exclusive use of 100% renewable energy Be For Green Be Sustainable and certified sustainable EKOenergy for sustainable electricity. Lesster is indeed the first brewery in Italy to have this recognition.
