The Azienda Agricola La Quercia is the result of a long journey of friendship and passion. The business is run by four friends who, at the end of the 1980s, became colleagues by chance. Over time, the company successfully integrated into the market, also receiving significant recognition at Vinitaly and in the most important guides of the sector, quickly making its way overseas already in 2005: United States of America, Europe, Japan, China, Canada, and even a very ambitious project: a chain of restaurants branded La Quercia.
The story of Azienda Agricola La Quercia
It all began when Elisabetta Di Berardino, now the administrative manager, started working at a winery and consultancy firm, where Antonio Lamona, the winemaker, and Luca Moretti, the commercial manager, had already been working for several years, and where Fabio Pedicone, the enologist, joined a few years later. All four worked together harmoniously until 2000, the turning point when they decided to take over the Azienda Agricola La Quercia, with which they had already collaborated as consultants.
Today, the Azienda Agricola La Quercia is a small winemaking reality that spans about 46 hectares of vineyards and 5 hectares of olive groves with a winemaking facility of about 400 square meters.
Wines La Quercia: in the glass the values of a territory and a friendship
The company's activity is based on respect for nature, whose role is fundamental to obtaining a good product and respecting the health of human beings, flora, and fauna. During processing, the raw material is treated as little as possible so that, in the glass, one can find the reflection of the land of origin and its typical characteristics. At the heart of the processing are the quality and typicity of the product, which identify the fertility of the local land.
In recent years, thanks to continuous research and innovation, La Quercia has managed to achieve very high qualitative standards, fully satisfying consumer needs. The quality of the wines, the brand image, secure packaging, and elegant and thorough packaging ensure a comprehensive quality system that is fully perceived by customers.
And so, in just a few years, the dream of the four friends became a reality. La Quercia wines receive positive feedback every day, also thanks to the innate abilities of the four partners, all with over a decade of experience in their respective roles. Fabio Pedicone, Elisabetta Di Berardino, Antonio Lamona, and Luca Moretti work every day to achieve ever higher quality levels and to surpass themselves, continually searching for the slightest nuances that allow them to progress in an increasingly fascinating and stimulating journey. The limited production also allows for maintaining a high-quality standard that has led to significant recognitions.
La Quercia wines: high quality standards in limited production
La Quercia offers a wide selection of wines ranging from reds to whites, from rosés to sparkling wines. The extremely high quality of the product owes a lot to the territory. La Quercia is located on the gentle hills of Morro d’Oro, between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso, a territory with a mild climate and rich soil.
During processing, the product is treated as little as possible, thus ensuring a processing focused on the quality and typicity of the product, never betraying the call of the land of origin. Additionally, the limited production allows for maintaining a high quality standard, thus focusing on a few units that are carefully followed through all stages of processing.
