The Nicolis Agricultural Company is a historic family-run winery for over sixty years that offers you excellent wines from the Valpolicella region.

Nicolis Wines: a passion that spans generations

The Nicolis Agricultural Company was founded in 1951 by Angelo Nicolis, who passed his passion for the land and wine to his eight children and wife Natalia. Today, the company is part of the best wine scene in Valpolicella, and its award-winning wines are known and appreciated both in Italy and abroad.

The history of the Nicolis family has always been linked to the art of viticulture. The company is located in the heart of the classic area, in San Pietro in Cariano, and the care for the land and vines has always been part of the family's everyday life, since the childhood of Giancarlo and Giuseppe Nicolis, who are now the owners of the company.

The name Nicolis tells the story of a family, in which each member is a fundamental piece of the winemaking puzzle of the company, from the work in the fields to the production of wine: the care of the vineyards, lovingly tended by Giancarlo, the refined and genuine vinification ensured by Giuseppe, and the commercial aspect managed by both with Massimo.

The personal journey of the Nicolis family members is closely tied to the history and characteristics of Valpolicella, a production area of wines with a very high qualitative and evocative profile. It is no coincidence that all the labels produced by the company are a unique representation of their territory.

The Company spans 90 hectares, of which 42 are dedicated to grape cultivation and are differentiated by location and morphological composition, to ensure that each vineyard has the best and most suitable soil to create unique wines.

Nicolis Wines: unique and unrepeatable wine

The Nicolis Agricultural Company is conducted in a form of eco-sustainable agriculture following European regulations on integrated farming. The use of photovoltaic panels makes it self-sufficient in energy production, utilizing renewable sources. This method of cultivation highlights the special attention that the Nicolis family gives to the land, their deep bond with it, and their respect and care.

A vine that grows and bears fruit, which will then be transformed into a unique and unrepeatable wine, is for Nicolis Wines, every time, the realization of a pact: the one forged between them and the land.

The 42 hectares of vineyards are nurtured with love and dedication by Giancarlo and Giuseppe: the fresh wines come from grapes from the lower part of the hills, while the cru and hillside exposures give rise to the ripasso wines and Amarone, with the old vines grown in pergolas and bordered by well-exposed and cared-for marogne.

And so, from the land of the foothills, the classic vintage wines are born, while the hill, with its microclimates and terraces supported by the typical marogne of Valpolicella, is the kingdom of Amarone and Recioto, the flagship wines of the company. The elegant and powerful body of Amarone reveals all the exuberance of the sun, while the floral sensations of Recioto seem almost a homage to the wild rose that adorns the hills. The crown jewel of the company is the Ambrosan, Amarone that comes from a vineyard of particular value.

The land of Valpolicella represents a treasure chest containing truly precious content, which the Nicolis family cultivates with passion, to give us wines of great character and personality, with incredible balance and structure.

J'ai acheté les boissons Tormachio, goût oranges sanguines. Un délice à déguster bien frais. Pas sucré ni écoeurant, mais désaltérant. Je vous les recommande.
