It all started in the 1930s, when a young couple, Giuseppina and Lorenzo Vestuto, dedicated themselves to the collection of chestnuts as their main form of livelihood.
Their son Salvatore, together with his wife Giuliana, continues the family tradition, becoming a local reference for the production of dried chestnuts.
In 1997, the very young Lorenzo joined the company, combining studies with work to learn quickly.
Lorenzo travels throughout Italy and abroad to observe, learn, and experiment. He combines the skill of the artisan with innovative tools, aiming to further improve the quality of the products.
In 2010, during the most important Italian food & beverage trade fair, the Cibus in Parma, the Vestuto family presented the retail line, featuring the artisanal marron glacé as the highlight.
