SeminiAmo was born in the heart of the Sicilian hinterland. A few kilometers from the sea, completely immersed in nature: fields of wheat, olive trees, almond trees, citrus fruits, the typical base products of Sicily. The story of SeminiAmo is the story of a family. A family that has dedicated its life to work, agriculture, and an infinite love for the land, since 1960.

SeminiAmo chooses to look to the future by taking a step back. Returning to the respect for biodiversity, for nature. It wants to bring back to life those flavors that once made us dream, that we longed for, staying away from industrial processing techniques, favoring only tradition, naturalness, passion.
From Legend to Reality: the ancient grains
The legend tells that Sicily was the first land to receive wheat, it was the Goddess Demeter who gave it to the Sicilians as a sign of gratitude for helping her find her daughter Core. A legend that well conveys how ancestral, deep, and felt the bond between Sicily and wheat is.
The reality is that thanks to the generous climate, every year, from May onwards, the landscape of the island is golden from its vast wheat fields. In recent years, especially, Sicilian farmers have decided to return to defending the autochthonous wheat varieties of the island that had been gradually neglected, bringing them back to the market.
SeminiAmo has embraced this cause by cultivating four varieties of ancient grains: maiorca, russello, perciasacchi and timilia or tummina (from here the organic Tumminia wheat busiate), in full respect of nature and biodiversity, because as they say in Sicily diversity is wealth.
From ancient grains to artisanal pasta, with method
Love is the key word that SeminiAmo uses as the basis for any processing. Love mainly towards the land and the wheat, which nourishes our loved ones every day, and for this reason its quality cannot be questioned nor can it be an option.
