Conservators of the values and history of a community of skilled cheesemakers. For them, “it’s the people who create the cheeses,” and in this lies all their passion. In Valtaleggio, the air is pure, and it’s the place where the locals go in the summer to rejuvenate body and soul. Located in the Orobic Prealps, at an altitude of 1000 meters, it features small villages and pastures that reach up to 2000 meters. Particularly, the dairy breed that identifies this territory is the Bruna Alpina. This is where the DOP Taleggio was born!
