The Multiforme Social Cooperative Onlus was born as an experience of welcome and as an experience of encounter. Its activities were initially characterized by self-sustainability and the spontaneous, informal but also professional contribution of volunteering, which is conceived as a crucial resource for building and implementing the various personal and community projects that take shape and form from it. On November 28, 2011, the society was established, also conceiving projects and true activities for the community. Multiforme Onlus seeks to become a concrete and visible expression of a journey that starts from the poverty of the streets, passing through the creative responsibility of welcome, and today reaches the conception of work as a true opportunity for social redemption and personal and community revitalization, believing in and investing time, energy, lives, dreams, and hopes to ensure that everything becomes a concrete realization. A change that directly and personally involves. One of these precious projects is called Cuor di Frutta, the taste of welcome.
Multiforme Onlus and the taste of welcome
Cuor di Frutta is a genuine experience in a craft workshop where jams, jellies, gelatins, and mustards are produced, unique in the combination of flavors and original in their simplicity and naturalness. These Cuor di Frutta products were created with the idea of introducing everyone to a new flavor, namely “the taste of welcome,” the result of the work of people who have put themselves on the line and who strive every day to rise again and engage in efforts to restore dignity to their lives.
The workshop has been specifically designed, equipped, and authorized, allowing for a strictly artisanal activity. The project is guided by the principle of always using fresh seasonal fruit at the right degree of ripeness. Cooking is done on gas-powered stoves and stainless steel pots, always in small quantities for each batch to preserve the taste and maintain the natural color. The reduced amount of added sugars and the absence of preservatives further enhance the flavor and quality of the resulting product. It should not be underestimated that each jar contains more than 80% fruit and less than 35% sugar. It is therefore a unique product, crafted artisanally with exclusive and creative recipes.
