We are in Siusi, in one of the most beautiful valleys of South Tyrol. Among the green meadows and the blue sky stands the Sciliar massif, a cake-like mountain about 3000 meters high with a sharp peak, immortalized by a well-known confectionery brand on its packaging. Here, the family of Florian Rabanser is still dedicated to the ancient farmhouse practice of distillation. A tradition that has been passed down since the distant 1300s.

Florian is an eclectic character who divides his time between his passion for the production of spirits and a beautiful hotel, the Florian. He does not produce large quantities of spirits, as his operation must comply with an archaic law, still in effect, that limits the amount of alcohol produced per family in South Tyrol. For this reason, Florian has decided to focus entirely on high-value raw materials, local and representative of the culture and tradition of South Tyrol. The pomace is sourced from his friend Klaus Lentsch, whose wines you can find on this site.

A single digression for Gin and Rum, Florian's great passion: products that can reach even 60 degrees, at the peak of perfection. Florian's artisanal mastery is also evident in the production of handcrafted labels for this last high-level product. The pure air of South Tyrol and the meticulous attention to detail make these spirits a true Italian gem.
