Columbro

Pastificio Columbro is one of the pioneers of organic pasta production and was founded in the early years &' 70 thanks to the passion of Nicola Arcisio Columbro. He, a commercial agent, traveled a lot for work and, precisely for this reason, he really missed the production of fresh pasta by his wife Iris.

It was really hard to find decent pasta on the tables of the various restaurants and inns he frequented for lunch breaks. From there, paragraph #39 was born; the idea of starting a production of pasta that could be marketed that had the same characteristics as the one kneaded by his wife. This is where Iris, the pasta all&' egg, comes to life.

From 1972 to 1977, Columbro set up the commercialization of pasta and then began the process of approaching San.Ri, a &' an association that had the task of spreading the food macrobiotic.

This is how the production of BIO pasta began, which continues all' now with great success. Columbro remains specialized in the pasta sector all&' an egg that continued until 2000 when, thanks to the new plant, the study of doughs with flours deriving from grains from the Marche region began. Thus, the line Italian specialties was born.

Today Columbro remains a family-run pasta factory and its craftsmanship, while supported by the latest generation of equipment, remains the cornerstone of production
