The durona cherry is a delight from the province of Verona and a product recognized for its sweetness and crunchiness.

An extraordinary territory to the east of the city of Verona in a valley famous for the Amarone della Valpolicella and great EVO oil.

The cherry here is centuries old and when the plants bloom, the valley is covered with white buds that contrast with the intense green of the landscape. The oldest cherry is the durona, with a purplish color and particularly large size.

Here we have chosen two types of cherries, the most common red and juicy ones that are smaller than 26mm and the larger ones that are greater than 26mm, which correspond to the durona characteristics.

Acidity and sweetness, as well as crunchiness and intense, persistent flavor, are the characteristics of the cherries from these valleys!
