The Herb Pancetta by Giannelli is rich in scents and flavors from the herbs used for its 6-month aging process. The cured meat feels velvety and firm with a beautifully balanced fattiness. It delights the palate with its melt-in-the-mouth and creaminess that it expresses as soon as it reaches body temperature. Excellent when sliced thin on toasted bread while still warm or in cubes for succulent and fragrant pasta dishes. It is also perfect for elegant aperitifs. The marbling of the pancetta is beautiful and well-distributed. This cured meat pairs well with red wines like Chianti or Sangiovese di Maremma.
