Half White Drunk Cheese

La Casara is located at the foot of the Lessini Mountains, among the highest hills of the denomination of Durello DOC and Soave DOC. White grapes for white wines. The first is produced with Durella grapes, which were once called rabiosa or cagnina due to their acidity.

The Garganega for Soave is instead an indigenous grape typical of the Verona area, the best known and most cultivated. With the two wines and their pomace, it is used to age cow's milk cheese produced with the same technique as Monte Veronese DOP. It has a maturation period of 8 to 19 months.

The aging in the pomace and wines involves an absorption that penetrates in a centripetal manner towards the center of the cheese, imparting typical organoleptic characteristics.

Half White Drunk Cheese: use in the kitchen

It is a cheese that smells of flowers and must. A nice creaminess, especially in the center where the paste literally melts in your mouth, and even near the rind, the paste is particularly creamy with a nice balance of acidity and sweetness.

Aroma of fine herbs. Also hints of hazelnut. A very good cheese for finishing a meal or pairing with platters of other aromatic cheeses or cured meats.

For white wines, also aromatic Alto Adige wines or for Soave or Spumante Durello, precisely due to the resonance of the products.
