The Natural Cooked Ham by Motta Ottavio is a product selected by the Roncolato family of La Casara.
This ham is obtained from carefully selected pork legs, each bone removed and trimmed on three sides; the leg is salted through brine injection, tenderized, gently churned, molded by highly qualified personnel, steamed in a mold, cooled, vacuum packed under controlled conditions, pasteurized, and then cooled again.

Its aroma is particularly intense and sweetly spicy. Its texture is delicately elastic with very limited marbling.
This is a great ham to slice to better appreciate all its flavor and aroma. Perfect rolled on breadsticks, diced in salads, or seared in a pan for pasta dishes with tomato.
Additionally, it's pleasant for filling pancakes or ravioli. It pairs well with delicate and slightly aromatic white wines. Excellent with Piedmontese Arneis and Campanian Fiano.
