The Italian Quinoa in a 500-gram package is an excellent base for vegetable salads and for boiled white meats. In particular, it blends very well with other legumes such as chickpeas, beans, peas, and with dried fruits like cashews or pine nuts. It is also great with dried cherry tomatoes from the Piennolo del Vesuvio DOP or with the classic Napoletana Pacchetella to give a more Mediterranean flavor.

Quinoa has the particularity of being very similar to cereals both in taste and in its ability to produce flour with a very high starch content.
