Formaggio Pafiorito 200g

This is a cheese made from whole cow's milk from cows grazing in high mountain meadows.

After coagulation and salting at about six weeks of age, the cheese is immersed in a liquid mixture of flowers, composed of hay, mallow, marigold, strawberry, rose.
 

At the end of the maturation, the cheese is dried on wooden boards. 

Formaggio Pafiorito 200g: How is it produced

After coagulation and salting for about six weeks of age by the producer, the cheese is immersed in a liquid mixture of flowers, made up of hay, mallow, calendula, strawberry, rose from the refiner.
The cheese matures for at least 45 days and then refines for another 15 days with dried flowers and herbs.
