We are talking about a Slow Food Presidio: the production of Monte Veronese DOP from the Presidio is tied to the ascent to the alpine pastures of herds in the Lessinia area, and therefore, it must occur from the end of May until about September.

It pairs very well with chestnut honey, but also with other cheeses on a nice platter, alongside walnuts, pears, and eggs.
