The Salame Milano with whole synthetic casing is a true classic of the northern Italian charcuterie tradition and is one of the flagship products of Salumificio Pedrazzoli. 

This salami is made from the processing of lean pork meat combined with rich fat, minced to a rice grain size. The mixture is seasoned with salt, cracked black pepper, ground white pepper, wine, and sometimes garlic. The casing used for stuffing is s synthetic.


HISTORICAL ORIGINS


The origins of Salame Milano date back to the time of the Sforza and Visconti, when the people drew a significant nutritional contribution from pork meat, and it takes its name from the area where it was born and where it is still produced today.

The Salame Milano in synthetic casing is served thinly sliced, predominantly machine-cut. Excellent with the michetta milanese and in general with bread. Pairs well with young red wines like Grignolino d’Asti and Monferrato Casalese.
