Salame Milano with half a natural gut

The Salame Milano is a true classic of the northern Italian charcuterie tradition and is one of the flagship products of Salumificio Pedrazzoli. 

This salami is made from the processing of lean pork combined with rich fat, minced to a rice grain size. Everything is seasoned with salt, cracked black pepper, ground white pepper, wine, and sometimes garlic. The casing used for stuffing is natural, a true added value compared to traditional synthetic casings.


Historical Origins


The origins of Salame Milano date back to the time of the Sforza and the Visconti, when the people derived a significant nutritional contribution from pork, and it takes its name from the area where it was born and is still produced today.

The Salame Milano in natural casing (half shape) is served thinly sliced, mainly using a machine. Excellent with the michetta milanese and generally with bread. A good match with young red wines such as Grignolino d’Asti and Monferrato Casalese.
