Puntamora Red Vivace

This wine is called so because it contains a small percentage of a particularly violet grape that offers particularly pronounced purple reflections. It is called Ancelotta and is a very typical grape variety of the Castelvetro hills in the Modena area.

It is a particularly soft and creamy wine in the pure style of Pederzana. A very elegant product that is pleasant on the palate. Very fruity with marasca and wild berries like blackberry and blueberry. Its bubbles are enveloping on the palate and very intriguing.

It is a typical Lambrusco produced through fermentation in steel and bottled at the origin using the Charmat method.

Puntamora Red Vivace: How is it produced

Tenuta Pederzana, Emilia Romagna

Everything begins in Solignano Vecchio, in the municipality of Castelvetro in Modena, in the immediate post-war period. Franco Simonini, a great winemaker from Castelvetro, acquires a new estate where he decides, with his wife Margherita, to isolate the best strains of Lambrusco in collaboration with the University of Bologna. In particular, he focuses on the indigenous variety par excellence: the Grasparossa... Go to the Tenuta Pederzana page

Puntamora Red Vivace: use in the kitchen

Tasting notes

What a scent! Blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, sour cherry. Enticing and spicy sensations. A particular gentleness that is later confirmed on the palate thanks to a creamy fizz and a softness that accompanies enveloping tannins. Beautiful spiciness that keeps the tasting alive with a particularly pronounced perception of persistence.

Puntamora Red Vivace: pairings

Excellent Lambrusco with the typical characteristics of the ancient Grasparossa variety, with a hint of herbaceousness contributed by the Ancelotta. It pairs well with fatty meats, 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, and dry, spiced biscuits with a light amount of cocoa.

Serving Temperature: 10 °C
Alcohol content: 12% vol.

How to store Puntamora Red Vivace At its best
