Blu Gins 1/16 of 150g shape

The Blu Gins by La Casearia Carpenedo is a masterpiece that marks the 50th anniversary of Antonio Carpenedo's activity. Born from an original idea, which is to pair cheeses with cocktails: this is how the collaboration with Roberto Marton, a producer from Treviso of a great Gin for true connoisseurs, the Roby Marton Gin, which is also highly appreciated abroad, was born.

The Blu Gins is the result of a journey of research and strong innovation that the Carpenedo family has carried out for two years, through aging trials and tastings. Here is an intriguing blue cheese made from cow's milk that perfectly pairs with one of the most loved distillates in the world. The name Blu Gins crowns a product that aims for contemporaneity and innovation in taste.

Blu Gins: Cheese and Gin Together

The Blu Gins is a cow's milk blue cheese aged in gin: a combination, that between Gin and cheese, which is not only a perfect duet from a sensory and gastronomic point of view, but also represents the fusion of cultures, of stories and passions that tell of the desire for pleasure and beauty. Blu Gins is dedicated to those who do not love banality, to those who dare at the table and in life.

Blu Gins 1/16 of 150g shape: use in the kitchen

The Blu Gins from La Casearia Carpenedo (which in this page we present in a portion of about 150 grams) fascinates the palate with its aromatic expression, typical of Gin, which finds an ideal accompaniment in the cream of the cheese. The herbaceous notes are elegant and sensibly spicy, with slightly piquant notes and a finely alcoholic sensation. A meditation cheese, to be paired with a Roby Marton Gin for a definitive pairing. Excellent for appetizers or a tasty risotto. An #unconventionalcheese for creative #unconventionalfood.

Blu Gins: Characteristics

Blu Gins is wrapped in a brilliant packaging that resembles an original denim pocket. The pearly white of the shape is dotted with crust flowers of a delicate blue-green color. When cut, one can appreciate the compactness and homogeneity of the veining and the particular creaminess of the paste. It does not form a drop like more common blue cheeses, but the veining remains impalpable and gently fused into the paste, thanks to the action of the Gin. The penetration of the Gin into the paste decisively marks the fragrance of this creation. It combines sensations of fine aromatic herbs and floral pleasures that merge with the characteristic scent of the blue cream. Sweet, elegant, fine, and definitely intriguing.

Non-edible rind.
