The Caciotta Affumicata Rochan by Corrado Benedetti is a product made with high-quality ingredients: it is a cheese sourced from selected local suppliers, expertly smoked to achieve a fresh and delicate cheese characterized by its toasted notes.
The name caciotta comes from the Latin "cacio", which was used until the 1800s to refer to the cheeses of the peninsula.
The smoked caciotta, once opened, is best preserved by wrapping it in a damp linen cloth, ensuring that the slice does not dry out and oxidize when exposed to air, but remains as if just cut.
