Pommard Premier Cru La Platière is a French red wine produced by the Marguerite Carillon winery.
The Platiere is a 100% Pinot Noir cuvée. For this particular wine, a pre-fermentation of 5 to 6 days is necessary. The vinification lasts about 10 days in wooden barrels, where the temperature can reach up to 34 degrees.
Aging varies from 14 to 18 months in oak barrels, 50% new and 50% old oak.
