Symbol of the Mediterranean Diet, this Selezione Cutrera Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced in the southeastern part of Sicily from centuries-old olive groves exposed to the south, at an altitude of 150-400 meters above sea level and close to the Mediterranean. It is a blend of various types, an exclusive selection from the Frantoi Cutrera.
Varieties: Moresca, Biancolilla, Nocellara, Cerasuola, Tonda Iblea.
Harvesting method: manual and mechanized harvesting.
Harvesting period: from November 1st until the end of production.
Extraction method: continuous cold two-phase cycle.
Appearance: green, cloudy due to natural decantation.
Aroma: full-bodied with a pronounced artichoke note.
Taste/Flavor: full-bodied, with very balanced bitterness and spiciness, features notes of artichoke and oregano.
