The Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Ferragù 2014 is certainly a companion for pleasant meditation, as this is its purpose, so it should be enjoyed alone.
However, being a full-bodied and characterful wine, it can be paired only with aged cheeses, game, roasts, braises, and stews.
Of course, it is a worthy companion to a typical dish of the Venetian tradition: Risotto all’Amarone.
