The Berghemblu by Arrigoni (which we present to you on this page in a whole form of about 2.5kg) is an excellent cheese to enjoy as a table cheese simply on a slice of bread or accompanied by fruit and vegetable mustards, citrus jams, dried fruit, or honey to prepare tasty appetizers and great aperitifs. It is also a delicious ingredient for the preparation of first courses (to which it lends a unique flavor) and tasty sauces to be used to accompany main courses or simply to fill a sandwich or a snack.
Taste: Intense but not spicy.
Crust: Compact, rough, pinkish in color, not edible.
Paste: Pale yellow in color, melting in the mouth, with moderately spread bluish marbling.
