The Gratena Nero Toscana Rosso IGT BIO 2016 from Fattoria di Gratena is a wine made solely from Gratena Nero grapes grown in vineyards with just 700-800 plants at the highest part of the estate's grounds. This type of grapevine is found only on the properties of Fattoria di Gratena.
Grape composition: Gratena Nero 100%
The harvest is done by hand, following the rules of organic farming and the traditions of the estate.
The maturation takes place in French tonneaux for about 12 months, while the bottle aging lasts for another 12 months.
Alcohol content: 14.5% vol
Unique, of superior power, of exceptional chromatic and extracting richness presents an intense black color. Great gustative softness, great balsamic spiciness.
