The Lucifero di Arrigoni (which we present to you on this page in 1/8 of a shape weighing about 1.5 kg) is a blue cheese that pairs wonderfully with dried fruits and autumn fruits like pears, grapes, apples, or figs, but also with fresh fruit transformed into jam. You can also try it with dried bananas, quince jam, or dried plums, or simply paired with some excellent balsamic vinegar.
Flavor: sweet and slightly spicy due to the presence of chili.
Crust: compact, rough, hard with a gray/pink color, inedible.
Paste: white or straw-colored, buttery and melting, mottled due to mold development, with the presence of chili in its typical red color.
