The Taranta Salento Rosato Classico IGP 2018 by Vetrére is a wine that expresses the food and wine vocation of Salento, which makes agricultural traditions its identity.
For five generations, the Vetrère company has poured the roots of Salento, its aromas, colors, and the ancestral rhythm of the land into the glasses and throughout its range of products.
Grapes: Negroamaro, Malvasia nera.
Production Area: Monteiasi, Montemesola, and surrounding areas of the province of Taranto.
Elevation: 20 meters a.s.l.
Processing: Mechanical harvesting, soft pressing, static clarification, fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (14°-16°C).
Aging: In stainless steel tanks “sur lies” for two months.
Alcohol Content: 12.5% vol.
The Taranta Salento Rosato Classico IGP 2018 by Vetrére is a wine that pairs perfectly with fish dishes and fresh spun cheeses. It is an excellent wine to accompany you during Aperitifs.
Color: cherry pink, with bright reflections.
Aroma: on the nose it presents hints of red fruit and marasca.
Taste: on the palate, freshness and liveliness stand out, well combined with a softness that contributes to a pleasant mouthfeel.
