The Dry-Cured Ham from Cinta Senese DOP of San Gregorio is a delicious cured meat made from the meat of the most typical pig from the Siena area: it is obtained exclusively from pure breed Cinta Senese DOP pigs that are slaughtered between 12 and 16 months.
The dry-cured ham from Cinta Senese has a firm meat and a bright red color, with evident marbling and considerable thickness of white-pink fat. The external appearance is not convex, and the leg features black nails and/or pigmentation, a characteristic of the Cinta Senese breed.
The uniqueness of the raw materials used, the open-air farming, and the feeding methods give the product an unmistakable quality and a unique taste.
Aging: 18/20 months.
Ingredients: leg of Cinta Senese DOP pig, salt, pepper, chili, garlic, sucrose, dextrose, natural flavors. Surface treated with lard made from Cinta Senese pig fat. Antioxidant: ascorbic acid. Preservatives: potassium nitrate, sodium nitrite.

It is characterized by an intoxicating aroma of spices and pepper, and a very intense flavor reminiscent of game, making it perfect served as an appetizer together with homemade bread, paired with great Tuscan reds like Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino or Nobile di Montepulciano.
Storage instructions: keep in a cool and dry place, a temperature of +6/10°C and relative humidity not exceeding 65-70% is recommended.
