This Spumante Extra Brut Rosè produced by La Pria, originates from the Hills of Alonte and Orgiano in the Colli Berici, south of Vicenza.

The grape harvest for Spumante Extra Brut Rosè La Pria takes place in August, using the double guyot training method. As for the vinification, the grapes are softly pressed through appropriate pneumatic presses. The aging and stay on the noble lees in steel lasts four months. For the sparkling process, the Italian Martinotti (Charmat) method has been chosen. The primary fermentation is carried out at a very low controlled temperature with selected yeasts. Finally, regarding the sparkling process, the refermentation temperature is maintained at 16°C. Then, tartaric stabilization at low temperatures (-4°C) is performed, and in conclusion, microfiltration is done before bottling to separate the yeast cells from the sparkling wine.

This Spumante Extra Brut Rosè La Pria is designed for aperitif but it is also an ideal wine for the entire meal thanks to its very fine bubbles and persistent perlage that make it light and fresh.

The Spumante Extra Brut Rosè La Pria appears shiny, pale pink with bright coral reflections, with very fine bubbles and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile is characterized by fruity sensations of apple, white peach, citrus like pink grapefruit, wild strawberries, raspberry, currant, and floral notes of peach blossoms. The palate is fresh, salty with mineral perceptions and a finish that recalls the citrus of pink grapefruit.
It pairs excellently with cold and light dishes such as a caprese salad or a platter of medium-aged raw ham, with vegetable risottos, simple fish main courses, and roasted or grilled white meats. Perfect with raw fish and sushi. Also recommended to pair with pizza.
