The Ripasso technique is performed by Marinella Camerani with great naturalness and without any forced effort. The Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes come from the Pra Alto, Retratto, Campi Magri, and Monte Tombole vineyards. There are a total of 4.2 hectares for production. Only indigenous yeasts are used, and the ripasso process on the Amarone pomace lasts about 6 days. The result is a wine that is particularly rich in its fruity component with a delicate hint of black pepper spice. The tannin is more pronounced, although well integrated into the wine without any particular aggressiveness.

Corte Sant'Alda, Veneto

Corte Sant’Alda is a beautiful reality in the hills of Verona in the Valle di Mezzane. Biodynamic from the beginning, it is the natural expression of the thoughts of a great woman and interpreter of Italian winemaking. Marinella Camerani was named the best winemaker in Italy in 2009 by Gambero Rosso, but her simplicity and concreteness remain substantial traits of her success. Marinella has an intimate relationship with her vines and loves the wild land where she decided to make her home and build her family. Her wines, so elegant and pure, embody the spirit of these sweet and unexplored hills for years. A life intense and courageous, that of Marinella, is told in a novel, “Con la terra tra le mani” published by Cierre, which takes place among the properties. Her wines are an act of love and respect for nature in the search for the strength and energy that are the heritage of the land.
