Ca' Maiol is the ancient inscription that can still be admired on the portal of the farm owned by the Contato family. Walter Contato, along with other prominent figures from this area of Lake Garda, was one of the founders and advocates of the great success of Lugana wine.

Let us remember that the Scaligeri used these lands to exile the wrongdoers, those who had problems with the noble justice system. Yet today this land has regained its dignity, becoming one of the realities of Italian wine where grapes are better paid.
