Torre d'Orti Marcellise - Cavalchina

The name Cavalchina comes from the fact that the location of the winery is a small hill overlooking the plain and the Lessinia like a rare panoramic terrace. In fact, it was an extraordinary vantage point that was used during the Battle of Custoza during the Risorgimento.  Luciano and Franco are the owners who have greatly contributed to the consolidation of the denomination both in Italy and internationally. Wines of the highest quality that have won the most important awards from guides and competitions.

The Custoza Amedeo has repeatedly received the Tre Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso. The Piona family, in addition to Cavalchina, also owns a beautiful prestigious estate on the morainic hills of Mantua in the municipality of Pozzolengo.

La Prendina is defined as one of the pearls of Lombard enology and, we add, of Italian enology. Wines with a strong emotional impact accompanied by elegance and pleasantness. Finally, the last property of the Piona family at Cavalchina is the vineyards on the Marcellise hill east of Verona.

Here they produce a Valpolicella of the highest quality, exciting and with great structure. Torre d'Orti is a new company that has already conquered the world for its uniqueness.
