Fondazione Più di un Sogno

The Fondazione Più di un Sogno was established in 2007 at the initiative of a group of 6 families, the founding members, each having a son or daughter with Down syndrome. What does a parent desire for their child? Respect, a home, affection, family, work, in a nutshell, a Life Project.

Più di un Sogno proposes a Life Project aimed at achieving the best possible autonomy and social inclusion. To do this, it works together with the Social Cooperative Vale un Sogno and the volunteer association Più di uno. The Foundation maintains scientific supervision of the Life Project, handles research, and coordinates rehabilitative and social-health activities. Additionally, it manages and oversees the administrative control of the Group. Specifically, it directly provides health services at the Health Centers in Zevio and Verona and socio-health services at two apartments in San Giovanni Lupatoto (VR).
 

Together to imagine the future of our young people with the Fondazione Più di un Sogno

In 2010, Più di un Sogno promoted the establishment of the Social Cooperative Vale un Sogno, assigning it the services of training for job placement and the management of the social brand VALEMOUR (owned by the Foundation) and its related commercial activities. The Foundation is a supporting partner of the Cooperative.

In 2007, the Foundation promoted the birth of the volunteer association Più di Uno, inviting it to take care of the free time of its beneficiaries and other people with disabilities in the Verona area.
