The Filippi farm is located in the most suitable area for the production of Verona asparagus. The province of Verona is strongly linked to its great river Adige, which, over the millennia, has continually changed its course, leaving lands rich in minerals and with a loamy, gravelly, and sandy texture ideal for asparagus cultivation. A tradition rooted in history; wild asparagus has always been collected in spring along the banks of the river and along the edges of ditches and canals that cut through the great plain. Marco Filippi produces in Cà degli Oppi, a small village at the beginning of the Po Valley, which was once traversed by the waters of the Adige and is now located a few kilometers west of the river.
