Maculan

The Maculan family has been selecting and vinifying the best grapes of Breganze for three generations, in a charming town at the foot of the Asiago Plateau with a mild climate that favors the cultivation of vines and olives. The hills of Breganze offer an ideal terrain for grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Tai, and Vespaiolo and allow for the production of high-quality wines.

The activity began in 1947 thanks to the commitment and will of Giovanni Maculan, and over the years it passed into the hands of Fausto Maculan, who, with determination and immense passion, brought it to its current reality. Since 2007, his daughters Angela and Maria Vittoria have enthusiastically joined their father in managing the company.
Fausto Maculan was born for wine, as he saw the light in the premises that were used as his office for almost thirty years. His motto was “a small company for great products”; in fact, at a rather difficult time for winemaking in our area, he made a courageous choice to focus decisively on the qualitative improvement of his wine, dedicating all his energy and time to this purpose.
In-depth studies, travels to the best wine regions around the world, daring experiments, and sometimes incredulity helped him bring his company to the highest levels of quality and global image, offering his admirers a complete range of excellent white wines, significant red wines, and delicious dessert wines.
