A story that began in 1954, when Emilio Fuselli, a settler from Marche who emigrated to Tuscany in Bolgheri, purchased a plot of land from Marchese Incisa della Rocchetta. With the cultivation of this land and essentially agricultural production, he built the house, the foundation of the family. After him, his son Aldo continued the activity by expanding the land and introducing the production of extra virgin olive oil.
But it was Maurizio, after a decade of experience at Antinori, who took the reins of the company, radically transforming it by planting only vineyards. The great passion for the land passed down to him from his grandfather Emilio, the search for quality as his goal, and the high training he had already acquired in the field allowed Maurizio to refine his skills, leading him to build the wine cellar: small, but innovative and functional, designed to combine genuine tradition with the most advanced winemaking techniques.
The first harvest was in 2003 with the release of “Emilio Primo,” in honor of the grandfather who inspired and guided him.
